Still contemplating whether merlanteans should be banned.They have no specific combos that guarantee victory and they rearely otk.So I thinking

i heartily agree with all of this. well spellbook isn't that bad but i wouldn't mind it being banned. chaos drag got hit really bad to the point of not needing ban anymore. lightsworns are not that popular and very luck based on the mills. and fire fist is simply on steroids and crack at the same time.

Spellbooks are so dumb and honestly are going to ruin the game. Ban them. And wtf are you all talking about?! Merlanteans are a lot better than fire fists! They OTK extremely easily and mono mermails are insane. Fire fists are a control deck with literally no way ti OTK. There is nothing unfair/unbalanced about them. They are quite easy to beat if you know how to play against them. That is just my insight.

Don't get me wrong, fire fists are a force to be reckoned with, but they are not too overpowered by any means and should not be banned IMO

I don't consider fire fist necessarily "Completely fair" They have a lot of search power.They kinda remind me of inzektors in the since their spells are their equips.They also support being able to gain atk during the damage step,like c'mon.Its a different story from the occasional lance but its not even fun when you can get 1000 extra atk,and for what?In addition most if not all their s/t give them permanent atk gain.Its in the case of ophion and lvl 4 xyz,that extra 50 changes things a bit,but an extra 1k pulled out your "butt" whenever you feel doesn't sound very fair to me.

that's y i said they're on steriods. dat atk buff too stronk. for all LOL players; firefist makes Baron Nashor look like crap.
